a cup so filled with dripping rock

i now can be the one who knocks
from that moment, power saught
it's what so gives the land of rot

All your inspiration calls
if we go back what will we see?
it won't be pretty, that I know
we'll see our friends all torn apart
ripped into a shadow's heart
but we'll go back, we have to go
there's nothing here but dirt and rock
the place we love needs us to help
and so we'll save our dying flock
i'll make a passage, glowing hot
And so we leave the land of rot

If you /take all the time that you've set aside
Mold yourself into the man that you have inside
You will break into the place you wished to see your soul
It's worth the pain and terror that is in that goal
Though maybe you will fall apart when things do come at you
And maybe death will follow swift to your old point of view
It's all a part of growth and change, and you do know
That you cannot be the same if you do want to grow
I have lived through trials long and hard and yet to come
are more than I have even dreamed about, I'm almost numb
To any fight that comes my way, I will just take it in stride
